Here's a guide to the Sydney Tower Eye's ticket prices, coupon information, and related sightseeing activities, to make your trip planning smooth and enjoyable!

1. What is Sydney Tower Eye?

The Sydney Tower Eye is located above the "Westfield Department Store" in Sydney's city center and is divided into 3 main parts: the "Observation Deck," the "Sydney Tower Skywalk" for outdoor aerial walking, and the tower's "Revolving Restaurant (SkyFeast)."

The shared highlight of these attractions is the 360-degree view of beautiful Sydney, perfect for those who love photography and sightseeing.

2. How to Save Money?

The Sydney Tower Eye's tickets are mainly divided into two parts: the "Observation Deck" ticket and the combo ticket with "Skywalk." The prices are as follows:

  Ticket Prices
Sydney Tower Observation Deck Adult $26.4
Child $20.0
Observation Deck + Skywalk Adult $89
Child $64
※Note: The entrance to the Skywalk is located at the observation deck, so it is not possible to purchase a separate ticket for the Skywalk.

A special mention here is that if you purchase through some travel websites, such as KKday's "Sydney Tower Tickets & Skywalk" or Klook's "Sydney Tower Tickets," you can often find prices that are cheaper than the official rates. It's highly recommended to compare and look around.

Apart from the cost of the "Sydney Tower" itself, there is a previously mentioned "Sydney Attractions Pass" in the "Darling Harbour" article, which allows you to visit not only the "Sydney Tower" but also 3 major attractions in Darling Harbour: "Madame Tussauds Sydney," "Sydney Aquarium," and "Sydney Wildlife Zoo."

These three attractions at Darling Harbour are often visited by tourists in Sydney. They each cost around 50 AUD, so it would be around 150 AUD in total. However, the discounted prices when purchasing the combined ticket with the "Sydney Tower Eye" are as follows:

As the official description explains, the Attraction Pass offers various options: a 4-pick-2 pass, a 4-pick-3 pass, and a 4-attraction pass. You can choose the attractions you prefer, priced at 65, 75, and 85 AUD, respectively. Thus, just by visiting the three attractions in "Darling Harbour," you can save about 75 AUD. If you add the 4-attraction pass with the "Sydney Tower," you'll save even more, highly recommended!

The good news is there's an even more economical method! If you purchase the "Sydney Attractions Pass" through travel websites like Klook or KKday, it's even cheaper than the official price, meaning more savings for you.

Finally, there's an additional "upgraded" option called the "Ultimate Sydney Pass," a 4-attraction pass plus the Sydney Tower's "SKYWALK." If interested, check the "Sydney Tower's official website."

(When purchasing the attractions pass, you'll receive a barcoded card at the first visiting location of your choice out of the four attractions, presentable at each location. The card is valid for 30 days.)

(Westfield department store is a famous shopping center in Sydney CBD, attracting many shoppers daily. It has clothing stores, cafes, souvenir shops, gourmet restaurants, etc. To enter Sydney Tower, you must first reach the ticket counter on the 5th floor.)

(During weekends or peak tourist seasons, the "Sydney Tower Eye" can get pretty crowded. Hence, it's advisable to purchase tickets online to avoid waiting in line.)

(Before entering Sydney Tower, there are areas introducing the tower's history, story, records, etc., including a 5-minute short film in a small theater to help visitors better understand the attraction before taking the elevator up to the Sydney Tower.)

(Though you can't carry recording equipments for the "SKYWALK," I highly recommend this experience. Without any glass barriers, the air is fresh, the view is even clearer, and guides provide detailed insights into Sydney's attractions. But of course, those afraid of heights might want to skip this part. Ha!)
